Course materials
Where course materials have already been provided before an otherwise approved contractual refund, £300 will be deducted as the material fee. This deduction will not apply where it would conflict with rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including applicable UK consumer rights.
Self-study courses
- Before materials are accessed, cancellation and refund remain subject to applicable statutory rights.
- After access begins, refunds depend on statutory rights and the express immediate-access request made at enrolment.
- No refund is provided after an examination has started or finished, except where required by law.
- Defective or inaccessible content will be repaired, replaced or otherwise remedied as required by law.
If Cognicert cancels or reschedules
If Cognicert cancels a course, you may choose a full course-fee refund or another available intake. If a new date is unsuitable, you may request a full course-fee refund. Cognicert is not responsible for indirect travel or accommodation costs except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Refund timing
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method within 10 working days. Bank or payment-provider processing times may apply.
